Ok, now that we know bits and pieces about western girl, I thought I'd speculate on who she is and what she's doing here:

Westerngirl is a bright and moderately attractive, but not gorgeous, 20 year old, Chinese-Canadian college student from Vancouver. Her parents are very traditional Chinese who only want her to date and eventually marry an educated Chinese person, and they've been pounding that into her since birth. Westerngirl thinks white guys are more fun that the somewhat geeky Asian students she goes to school with, who have no time for dating since they're always too busy studying. Now, westerngirl has resigned herself that everntually she'll have to marry a Chinese guy so now that she's away from home, it's a perfect time to have her fun.

Justin (or Sean or whatever) is a white guy in Westerngirl's art history class that she really likes ("he's soooo cute! with his earring and kewl tatoo on the side of his leg") but he doesn't seem to know she exists. He's too busy chasing skinny blue eyed blonds with "D" cup implants. How to get him to notice her??? Well, westerngirl is pondering this question in her dorm room in front of her computer - and she gets a great idea. She calls up Yahoo and searches "interracial dating." Wading through a bunch of black & white case study web sites, she spots - Planet-Love: Asia Discussion Area. Aha. maybe here, she'll find some hints on how to get Justin to notice her.

When she keys in she finds out it's a bunch of 40something guys ("eeeewwwww - gross, almost as old as my dad!") mostly looking for young Filipinas, who are considered the bottom of the heap by most other Asians ("geez, they're catholic, speak English and eat with forks. What kind of Asians can they be??") But she joins in the banter anyway and finds out, Hey there are some interesting people with very different viewpoints - lots different than I've ever run into in my traditional Chinese home and my first time living away from home in the college dorm.

How'd I do?

*Phone lines were cut, rendering them inoperable.

*Voice mail messages were changed to obscene, scatological greetings. One Bush staffer had his grandmother call from the Midwest. She was horrified by what she heard on the other end of the line.

*Many phone lines misdirected to other government offices.

*Desks found turned completely upside down and trash deliberately left everywhere.

*Computer printers that were filled with blank paper but interspersed with pornographic pictures and obscene slogans that would be revealed only as items were run off the computer.

*'W' keys weren't just pried off more than 40 keyboards, some were glued on with Superglue; some were turned upside down and glued on.

*Filing cabinets glued shut.

*VP Office space in the Old Executive Office Building found in complete shambles. Mrs. Gore had to phone Mrs. Cheney to apologize, first reported by Rich Galen's Mullings.

*Lewd MagicMarker graffiti found on one office hallway.

It serves to warn you to pick a compassionate conservative.....not a crazy Clinton/Gore liberal.

One's ability to recognize lack of morality in others can be a asset in seeking a mate.
