Hi
I will be posting the pics somewhere soon.
Last night was our first night here together and everything was great.

I wanted to let you all know about the interview.
First off (for those who dont know) I filed the K-1 paperwork myself.

We went to the interview together. My fligt was late and her appointment was at 730 AM. I got to the embassy about 9.
She was still in a huge line outside. The were tons of people. I think the tourist visas etc.

After I got there they moved here up in the line. Some people had 9 am appt and they were there early. She had been there since 7.
We went in and they called here pretty quick. There is a caja there but she had to go pay across the street at the the bank the $100 for the interview.

So after doing that and going back in we waited another hour and then they called her to the window.
There they make sure you have all papers ready before you go to the interview. They also ask you a few questions there - are you divorced etc. They had a little check list of sorts.

Then we got called in to the room about 30 mins later. It was a women behind a thick glass like a prison type thing.
She was nice. She asked me some questions in English and her in Spanish. I dont remember all the question but they were real easy.

She did ask how we met etc. When I said an agency and the internet (being honest) she did take that into consideration.
I did have pictures and copies of e-mail lists, phone cards etc in my original packet. She looked at all that real quick and I made small talk.
She mentioned that I had been to Peru a lot and that must be expensive. It was real easy and she was fine.
We had more photos and I was joking with her if she wanted to see our Cusco pics etc.

After she said everything looked good. I asked her about the unwritten requirement that the gringo (man) be at the interview.
She said that since I had been to Peru so many times that she probably would have given her the visa - BUT...

"With so much fraud going on with the internet etc"

I got the impression that if a guy had only been to Peru once or twice and then put in for the Visa that he better be there for the interview. Thats just what I took from it.
You can take from it what you want.

Ok well long post
I will post more later

TE AMO PERU!!!!
