Use this rule in all cases and you will be correct: If it ends in a vowel, 'n' or 's', it is stressed on the next to last syllable. If it does not end in a vowell, 'n' or 's', it is stressed on the last syllable. All words which do not follow this rule have an accent mark on the vowel in the syllable which is accented.

BTW, what Thunderbolt said about the 'double l' is also correct....kind of varries regionaly, Some places (my ex from C.R. comes to mind) even pronounce 'll' as 'zah'....but eveybody will understand you if you pronounce it 'ya'.

And the 'rr' is rolled, requires a little fluttering tongue sound.

It's subtle, but it don't hurt to use it.

Number 2.

Also, the 'lla' is not pronounced as an 'l', more like between 'ya' and 'gia'.
