Promotional use of the board?

Sorry all, I've been doing the usual troll and spam deletions on the Latin and Russian boards and due to this board's peaceful nature, I may have ignored it too much.  Have people been receiving spam messages?

I'll let the board decide what happens to that particular account.  I thought it was border line promotion before.  If I know someone's using this board to collect spam lists, I'll definitely make some corrections.

Hi Patrick!

I think the lady in question said some things that a few people took exception with, but nothing really controversial, even by Asian Board standards. Seems that one or two members accused her of spamming their e-mail and then some others assumed that they were getting spam from her also. But nobody could produce any evidence or copies of the offending spam messages as of yet. She did offer to have the spam messages traced if anybody would forward a copy to her. She said she had nothing to do with it, so I guess it’s up to the accusers to prove otherwise.

Personally, I find nothing offensive with the lady’s posts. She was only expressing her opinions. Perhaps if everyone would just abide by your Posting Rule #1 and not plug their commercial sites, everything would be cool.

Hi Patrick,

I took no offense to Jean's posts. Just another Filipina expressing her views. Perhaps bordeline promotion of her site occured. But many times it was a result of a direct question about it.

I have not received any spam about that particular site.  Also I have nothing real or immagined against the woman, but I do feel the majority of her initial posts were convient advertisements, the latest seem just to be about hiya.  I welcome her posts and insites (which I do not have to agree with like anyone elses) but would rather not see the website tag.  I thought, Patrick, that you did not allow site advertisement like has been done.  It's your board, you are doing a great job.  But I thought I wa on the Russian list for  awhile.

Patrick I got spammed a long time ago it was from yahoo maganak club Jeans site was one of them she said she didn't do it . I guess I belive her. I don't thingk she should be promoting her site hear. Humabdos
