Greetings,
Although I have spent most of the past year getting to know Latins via email, phone and letter in anticipation of a trip there soon, I have also been getting very friendly with a Vietnamese woman with whom I share email daily.
Her character seems to be outstanding: sincere, very hard-working, loyal, faithful. This is not to mention that she is educated and works as an accountant for a foreign firm, intelligent, witty, clever and speaks English reasonably well. She is 35, and she has agreed with me (age 46) that it is not necessary to have children.
In fact, I can't find much of anything to fault about her, apart from some relatively minor physical disabilities that I consider inconsequential. And when the subject came up, she offered that she would be delighted to marry me.
For those with experience, are there likely problems ahead of which I may be unaware? Are Vietnamese women as good as they seem? What about their sexuality, particularly with respect to the fact that this woman seems to be a virgin and is reluctant to discuss sexual issues? Is sex often a problem with a Vietnamese woman?
