Hello...good people. I wanted to let everyone know since I was so amazed at all the input, opinions and heartfelt feelings flowing all different ways..Thanks. It was almost overwhelming getting all the feedback, more than the event itself and trying to think about answering everyone too. I felt if someone takes the time to provide thoughts towards my circumstances, that I somehow should provide some sort of response out of respect and courtesy to you and try to think why and how you came to your point of reference in life. Honestly, I don't know if I can answer everyone's thoughts and I am sorry for that partially because I myself was on the other side of this event since discovering it myself yesterday. But I know..I was the one that ask for your feed back and I really appreciate all...regardless of angles and perspectives.

Tonight my fiancee called and left a message, while I was at a company dinner that I had to attend. In her message she said, "I have so much to tell you and I think I have learned so many things now, etc." She sounded good but a little lonely and like she had been on a journey of self discovery for many months (after one day). I honestly think she will be coming home in the next couple days and perhaps with a different outlook....I just can't give up because of this one thing happening. I will keep you all posted...Thanks again..

Zeb

hi zeb.
i can feel your pain, it is a big decision to marry a filipino, or anyone. the filipino in the states is shut out of their normal routine. the cultral diffrence are a lot. i have been living here for a year now, i love it, but sometime's i wonder what am i doing here! just waiting till wash day? and sometimes i get depressed seeing what goes on around me in the towns.
i have always been treated well by the filipino here, but i do get ripped off a lot, ie: overcharged, but i have been ripped off by more ferners living here than by filipino's.
maybe she needs time and some space, i know when jay was at deaths door, i found that i felt like i was choaking to death some times, i went and visited a friend of mine for a few days and sorta got my head back on straight.
hoping the best for you
the 3 j's
