I've been exporting for the last 13 years and I've never heard of a 10' container. You will mostly likely need to use a NVOCC. They will consolidate your cargo into a 20' or 40' container along with other cargo. There are several NVOCC's with offices worldwide. You might try one of the following firms. They will also provide inhouse customs brokers, thus helping you clear cargo through US Customs.
One thing to keep in mind when using a NVOCC, usually if you can fill 60% or more of a 20' container, it's best just to ship in your own container, rather than sharing space.
As for air shipment, I rather doubt you can find a cost competitive carrier given the route your talking about. Especially if the merchandise is low value goods.

20' Standard (1050 cuft, 38000 lbs)
40' Standard (2100 cuft, 45000 lbs)
40' Hi Cube (2450 cuft, 45000 lbs)
**45,000 lbs is the max CalTrans allows for CA.
