I did it! I took the "risk" of going to Cali for the first time and I was rewarded beyond my most optimistic dreams. I had plans of visiting Cali, Bogota, and Cartagena during my 20 days in Colombia, but I never left Cali. I felt comfortable and safe in Cali, besides I was meeting beautiful women and having too much fun to want to go anywhere else. I'd like to share my experience by topics, so I'll start off by sharing my experiences with three great agencies: All Colombian Girls, Latin Best and Latin Encounters. This post will be exclusively on All Colombian Girls.
I stayed at ACG for 9 nights and had a great time. I especially appreciated Yvette's help with ogranizing a date on the night of my arrival. I definetely didn't want to spend my first Friday night in Cali inside my room. Instead, I had my first date waiting for me when I arrived to the agency. I quickly showered and got dressed for my first night out on the town. Yvette and a friend, another guy staying at the agency and his date, and my date and myself walked down to Avenida Sexta and had a great dinner and danced Salsa until the "Ley Zanahoria" kicked in and the fun came to a grinding halt due to recent guerilla activity that destroyed power lines to Buenaventura.
Everyone was friendly and accomodating at ACG. Don Ricardo was friendly and approchable, but had little to do with the day-to-day business of the agency. I especially appreciated the freedom to the updated photo albums at anytime. I found the ACG women to be beautiful, young (mostly 18-25), and diverse in terms of education, occupation and having children. I think the "High Klass" modeling business and magazine production on site influences the ambiance of ACG. There are many beautiful women constantly walking-in and out of this agency. Sometimes, the human traffic is a bit overwhelming for the agency's staff and phones go unanswered. There is tremendous freedom at this agency and the location is great. Having 24-hour armed security across the street helps with feeling safe, but they can also be noisy. Therefore, try to stay in one of the bedrooms away from the street.
There is a sense of material scarcity at this agency. It has the bachelor pad type atmosphere. Guys are always kicking-back in the living room with the stereo's music in the background. This make ACG have a casual and comfortable atomosphere. However, I sometimes preffered to invite my date for a limonade, or something, to Karen's Pizza down the street. This way our surroundings were less distracting and I avoided the awkwardness of being with an appointment when my next appointment showed-up.
I had paid with Paypal before arriving to ACG. However, problems with the system, made it impossible for them to access the money. Therefore, I was asked to pay in cash. Fortunately, I took $500.00 in cash with me, because otherwise I would have had to spend some time at an ATM. I suggest taking the cash with you and paying the agencies upon arrival for your membership.
I was fortunate to meet some great guys at the agency and we hung-out and supported eachother. Yes, guys get "dumped" my Calenas ("I can only offer you a friendship" type of thing, after you've kissed and gone out several times). It happened to me a couple of times, but this is a common experience. Having other guys around helps, but better yet, another beautiful Calena will make you forget the bad experience and will renew your hope.
About 90% of my appointments showed-up on time or called to reschedule. A couple of times my date didn't show up and I never heard from them again. I never cared to see them again, because I woldn't want to be with someone who is inconsiderate. Oftentimes, we met girls who just happened to be checking-in with the agency. Picutres are fine, but many of the women tend to be a lot more attractive in person. Some of my best dates were with women I'd casually meet at the agency.
O.K., I went out on about 15 dates and met many other women at the agency. The ages of the girls I dated ranged from 18 to 30. Many were students, others were Hairdressers, Lawyers, Dentists, University professionals and several were unemployed. The Lawyer gave me about 15 minutes during her lunch break and other dates lasted all day. However, after 9 nights at ACG I felt I needed a change of agency and a new set of photo albums. Ricardo suggested I visit Margaret at Latin Encounters. However, I decided to go to Latin Best and spend 5 nights there...
