I am currently writing to a few Filipinas and I am planning to visit the Phils this coming December and January.  Most of the young ladies I am writing to have already, or will soon graduate from college.  However, one, the one I like the best, won't graduate for at least another two years.
My question is if we were to marry and then she immigrated here or if she immigrated here and then we married and she had not graduated yet would many universities or colleges here accept her credits?

Thanks in advance

Creighton,
I'm not sure about the answer to your question, since it would probably be on a case by case basis depending on where she attended school and her major, BUT I can see on big advantage for her in the long run.   Even if none of her credits are accepted, when she finishes college here  in the US, she would have the advantage of being degreed  in the US when it comes time to apply for a job.   From  what I have seen employers seem to shy away from job applications from Filipinas for two reasons.  One being the unknown quality of a foreign education and two being their typically shy personality.   By finishing her education here, you can at least eliminate one of those.

Depends on the school she attended, some are accepted, some aren't. Check with the admissions officer of a local college. There is some kind of list of 'internationaly accredited schools and colleges'. I can't remember the exact name of it right now, but the admissions officer should look it up for you.
