The girls think that whoever pays an agency memebership, travels to Colombia to marry and bring to the U.S. a girl who will need his support for at least 1 year, is a wealthy guy who won't miss 200 or 300 dollars in a shopping spree.

And...those things happen because the guys allow them to happen.

awwww the paladar...spent lots of time in there...good food ..and yes upstairs ..nice atmosphere. dont go there unless you are really hungry..cuz by the time you get through the line you have 6 items on your plate.

Yes,  I'm in on the Paladar too.

I ate there all the time.  My favorite place.

I love the desserts there.

My problem was I never tried anything new.  The dish that looked like a huge piece of pie filled with chicken and mushrooms was so good that I got that everytime I went in, and the mashed potatos made me think I was back at my grandmothers house in Tennessee.  You are right, be very hungry when you go in there.

Yes, the one Gringo did rip the other off for about 200.00 US.  The one guy was such a dirt bag that Margareth should have thrown him out on his ear.  This guy asked two girls to marry him in the same day, and gave them cheap rings....

One thing that I didn't like was that this guy and a few others should not have been allowed through the doors of this agency.  Margareth would not tell any of them to get lost.  Major disrespecting of the girls and general bad behaviour.

That's amazing! I've been to Cali a number of times and the closest to that storey I ever heard was an incident at Crystal Palace when it was in Ciudad Jardin. I don't recall the details but I don't think they approached what you describe. But the real question is: what if they both said yes? That guys got to be a real trip.
