i will be in DR in 1st feb. untill 16th feb next year.

If possible, you would be better off going down in late February. That would be during Carnival. Dominican Independence Day is 27th of February and they have some great parties in the streets as well as many discos having major Merengue artists in concert. I might try  and make it down some time in February.
