Dating sites ???

NO, this is not a trick question.  I really don't know crap about internet dating sites other than the ex continues to try them with no luck.  Which ones, I don't know. I recently clicked on some popups for internet dating sites:  filipinofriendfinder, adultfriendfinder, freindfinder, amigos.com match.com...  They show a number of quite good looking asian and latin women.  Does anyone here know anything about these sites?  Are they worth the trouble or a rip-off.  The friendfinder sites look abit suspect.

I have tried several dating sites and found that Cherry Blossoms and Filipina Heart have the best response rate for me. YOU still have to wade through all that. What I like is that you buy a membership and can contact as much ladies as you want. This I think is better when starting a search. are you intrested in Filipina's or other nationalities? There are other site I can tell you about but these are good for me.

I have had a very good experience with Cherry Blossoms (blossoms.com).  I understand it is one of the oldest, if not the oldest, site of its type.  It is similar to match.com.  The ladies' info is self posted and you pay a monthly fee like match.com.  They have online chatting also.  I have found that chatting with more than three ladies at a time is beyond my dexterity.  You will find many Asian ladies, predominantly Filipina, but also, many Chinese.  There are also women from Russia and FSU as well as a surprisingly large contingent from Peru.  You will find women from Africa to Canada.  You will receive quite a few messages from women without writing first, particularly Filipinas.  I have ongoing e-mail relationships with a woman from Vietnam and a woman from the Ukraine from this site.  

If you are interested in Filipinas (they are beautiful, sweet and almost always speak English)you might try filipinaheart.com.  It is also similar to match.com.  You will be inundated with messages.  You will also find many, many Filipinas on Cherry Blossoms, so unless you have hours to blow writing e-mails, CB might be enough.

As for match.com.  It is the biggest player in the U.S., but I don't know what women in Asia think of it.  My experience is limited to the time before I was looking outside the U.S.  It is pretty straightforward.  Adultfriendfinder is for folks looking for s*x, not wives.  Friendfinder is pretty legit, but a runner up to match.com.

My editorial opinion - I HATE popups and refuse to give one penny to a business that advertises with them.  It is moot point now because my software kills them at birth.

I don't  know  what  market you are exactly looking for,  but I have to tell you that I had rather poor luck with Match.com   (which I believe is the largest agency)  both domestically and in my international search when I was looking for Japanese women at the time.  My profile said that I was looking for Asians specifically so that maybe scared them away.  Be aware that alot of users misrepresent themselves  so what you think you might be getting is not actually what you  get  when you finally meet them.

I have posted this before here  but I met my fiance on Asianeuro.com out of Australia  I mention this because you will be internationally billed using VISA.  both My Fiance and I bought the upgraded memberships and that was actually a factor in us meeting.  they assign you a number  so any one with a number  higher then you   is a more recent member.  you can view  who is online  when you are logged in at that moment too.  They have a pretty good method  when you want to narrow down your search parameters.

It's the luck of the draw  I was fortunate to have met my fiance via this method  but I have also been in contact with many other  women  beforehand.  Don't discredit just looking for female penpals  to chat  with instead of lookng specifically for a romantic connection right away.   I  met  many nice women and had many interesting discussions with them.  If they are interested  you will know soon enough.  and trust you instincts.
