"Military officials, meanwhile, said they believed they were closing in on al-Ghozi after a Filipino Muslim militant who escaped with him in July was recaptured in the country's south on Wednesday."

Yeah, the got Lasal in Dumalinao, about 50 klicks from Kapatagan.

Of course, the rumor is going around that they've got al-Ghozi too, and are just waiting to serve him up to Bush.

Rumors that he was apprehended driving a stolen Kymco 110cc motorcycle have not yet been corroborated.

Now “most” news sources say he is dead. Maybe they should draw & quarter him to make sure? :-)

Hey Harold,

If they do have al-Ghozi, maybe they want to wait a few more days before making the announcement just to make sure he doesn't "escape" again... :-)
