Hi Dave,

You're right, I'd have looked pretty dumb standing there as my bike rode off into the hills -LOL!  I'll have to keep that in mind...

BTW, I'm glad Isabelle didn't get you.

HOLY COW!!!  I just read my email!  So THAT'S where you've been!

Don't need birthcontrol either LOL.  No it takes about 30 kilometers of riding to get your hand down where it counts and pullem up.  Gotta stop do do dat so it's break time.  The trick is you never show what your doing.  I reach down like to straighten up my shirt.  I got real good at it with lots of practice for 2200 k's.  After awhile I got brave and did it while riding.  You got to do it with the left hand coz the right has the gas.  LOL  They should make it part of your test when you get your license.

Great report Peter!
Man when you go to the Philippines you don't f- around! I remember the hassle involved in taking a motor bike from Dumaguete to Siquijor what a nightmare! I couldn't imagine taking it to Boracay. Did you take that thing to Palawan?
Hum

PS
Never hit a cat in the Philippines it's very bad luck! Dog no one cares, manok no biggie, goat no big deal, Pig big problema! you'll be expected to pay for it then they will eat it! lol

Well you know hitting a dog may not be bad luck but it could mean the end of any trip.  I learned a new expression while in trafic and almost hitting dogs that I would shout out a few times an hour.  "Holy sh@t"  Maricel would ask what is that?  I told her it was a hole in my underware that had a leak and nothing to do with the Pope.
