Just thought I"d let you guys know my wife is FINALLY in American soil.
It was pretty crazy. Homeland Security lost our casefile. Had to write a congressman to get things done. Then Ukrainian police filled out her police report wrong so we had to wait for her visa. Then she was supposed to arrive in Houstong on Tuesday May 3rd. Amsterdam had bad weather so her flight was delayed 4 hours. She missed her subsequent flight to Houston. Had to sleep in Amsterdam Schippoll airport 1 night. Then arrived in Houstong & Continental lost her luggage. After her arrival on our way out of Texas I totalled the rental van by rear ending someone. OUCH!! Welcome to America. Anyways so far she seems to really like it here. Tommorow is a nieces graduation so she'll be meeting most of my family. My father is spoiling her rotten & she loves it. They REALLY hit it off. I guess after 2 years we deserve to have a break.

Congrats, its about time.  Must be a totaly new beginning for you man.  What did she have the biggest reaction to? ie. size of our stores

She walked out of a restroom at a rest are somewhere betwee San Antone & Houstong & said "oh my God! I thought the restrooms in the Kiev McDonalds were very nice. But this is like a castle!".
Also the fat people scared her. ;-))

I can't say I can fault her for that.  The fat people in America scare me sometimes, and I've lived here all my life!
