High-speed train Kyiv-Dnipropetrovsk to be started in a month
Railway lines modernization has been finished already, train stations' reconstruction goes on. 5-hour-long journey from Kyiv to Dnipropetrovsk will cost 53 hryvnas
High-speed train Kyiv-Dnipropetrovsk will start first trip on August 1. The main works on trunk-railway had been finished already, Mykola Shvets, head of Dnipropetrovsk regional state administration told today.
100% of Pridniprovska railway lines have been modernized. All train stations between Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk will also be renewed. Builders from all over Ukraine are working on this task. They have repaired 11 train station during 4 months. Dniprodzerzhinsk and Dnipropetrovsk stations will be finished in 3 weeks.
All building and repairing works cost 670 million hryvnas.
