"Officer, can you change this bill"?

An Amercan man and his Ukraine guide had found this wonderful gift he wanted to buy. The man only had a $100 bill and the shop owner could not make change. Trying to figure out how they could make change, they spot a Ukraine policeman. They walk up to the policeman and ask if he can make change for the $100.  The policeman said he was sorry, he did not have change yet as he had just started his shift.

Who wouldn’t get it but at the same time well .. It is funny… I mean it’s this humor that is presented, when you’re in country.  A tip for the new guys or even some of you that gave it a shot once, “You’re supposed to laugh!”  It’s the subtleness that can, and often is, translated in your mind as something that you will not get right off (don’t feel so bad but recover quick) Obvious to some and disturbing to others.  In these situations you want to just play along it’s what I like to call “Cute Humor”…
