Wow, now *that's* a discussion I missed!  Geez, take a few months off from PL and I miss some serious dirt!  Oh well, I had other things keeping me busy.  :-)

As far as ads go, don't be surprised to see your wife's ad periodically reappear on the web too.  I found my wife's original ad reappear on the web a few months ago, along with several others that were on her original site at that time.  Apparently, somebody lifted the old nonexistent website from somewhere out of time and started putting ads back out on the web.  I thought it was funny, but my wife was less than amused.

Getting her ad off was an ordeal too.  They wanted a marriage photo of the two of us.  Marina and I refused, as we didn't want to be a "success story" for some web site we never heard of.  I ended up scanning our wedding certificate and sending that.  They pulled her ad a few days later.

The site that did this was called 1ForLove Introduction Services (http://www.1forlove.com/).  There are a lot of ads on there that are at least 3 or 4 years old.  I think that's one you might want to avoid...

Mark was a looney-tune from the outset that just grew weirder as time went on.

At the end, he was actively touting his wife's travel business and aggressively combative with anyone that suggested any disagreement to his ignorant perspectives.

Now that I think about it - sounds a lot like another Mark on the board (who is not yet banned).

...someone remebers this whacko besides me, if his marriage blew up I'm not surprised.

Hey Danny, I'm in-country doing the piece right now. Off to Kherson soon for the kill. So much more to the place than chix, these guys oughta open their eyes. Just spent a week inside the zone, a fascinating experience. (Only about 2 rem so far)

Standby, details to follow.

I think I confused Mdante with MDM.

I was trying to be kind: I wanted to bring out the point that he was banned without making strong statements about someone who can not defend himself.

This board is a much nicer place now that our combative posters have been banned, moved on to greener pastures (ie other boards) or their combative ways behind. My original post was not intended to start a discussion of our formerly combative / competitive posting wars, but to remind the board of why a particular (former) poster is no longer with us. Let's keep it to that, please.

he became very combative with others and for reasons which made very little sense to me.  The board is much better now without the bullsht.

Yes, I remember the flame wars too. My post was intentionaly understated.

Some of the people who have participated extensively in flame wars are still amongst us.  I would prefer not to provoke another flame war.

Didn't he have a pretty hot wife?  I think he pushed his luck more than a little.  I also think he wants a working wife to help support him.  Wsbill and me are way better looking!

Your post implies divorce.  I hope not.
