Just wanted to say that Russian Detective finally removed Svetlana from the scan site. I have no idea why they changed their mind becuase they have not written Svetlana, Jack or myself. Maybe they saw the post here?

Anyway, better late then never. Even though it took awhile at least they did something about it and removed her. I thank them for that.

Good deal Zoid, glad she has been removed and you two can go forward with your relationship.

I am also a bit surprised we didn't hear from Ed or his wife, guess they won't be making it to our bar-b-que get together next weekend.

Unfortunately we can't make your BBQ (but we will someday).

V is in Kyiv until mid July so that I can get our house sold (hard to keep a house in pristine shape with a four y.o. running amuck Wink

I recently got a promotion to headquarters in Sacramento so that we can live in the big city. My wife being born and raised in Kyiv cannot stand any more of the "village life" (although Dasha loves it up here in the mountains). I am not real thrilled about the move but I have had fourteen wonderful years up here and my wife's happiness is much more important to me.

I guess that I could have searched for a country girl that would have been comfortable living where I prefer to live but I would not change a thing now. I have found the finest woman that I have ever met in my life and I will do whatever it takes (short of moving to NYC) to make her happy.

LIFE is GOOD abeit a little lonely right now.

Toast us as another of your success stories if you will. We will always be indebted to you and Firstdream (with a little help from Eugene).

I'll bring my bottle of Ukrainian Champagne that I brought back in 2001. (Does this stuff ever go bad?).
