Information about aos... and later a question

Here is a website ... I can not say it is accurate or not but if you are interested you can check it out... it does depress me a bit when I see the waiting time for some offices for AOS... I do not understand why there isnt more uniformity with the processing times... I understand some places will have greater caseloads compared to other areas but why the government doesnt just shift staff to the areas of greater need is a question I have ... anyway  here is the website

It does seem strange that there is such a disparity between INS offices.  Here in Oregon, we submitted our AOS paperwork in June 2002, interview was in October 2002 -- temp green card.  Another couple from here submitted paperwork in November 2002, interview in February 2003 -- temp green card.  In both cases the interviews were thorough and businesslike but not abusive as reported about the Miami INS.
