I promised a couple of guys pictures of the wedding... so here they are...

A couple of responses...

Quasi -- Well, I'm not originally from Texas ;-) But, yeah, I agree... she's better...

Jan - I agree. I have always enjoyed when guys share pictures. Maybe if the climate chages around here --if this isn't just a lull in the storm-- more people will feel comfortable. That's one of the reasons I took a chance and did it.

Karl - Victoria enjoyed her talk with Svetlana. We all need to get together sometime soon.

UnitedNut and Dan - Yes, those eyes are something. I believe there was a broadway play that sums it up: "Those Lips, Those Eyes" ...  of course, she thinks she looked terrible with her makeup and hair wet. (Just shows that she doesn't know everything :-)

ChrisNJ - Thanks, I always thought her face showed intelligence and character ;-)

KenC - Yeah we're all very happy. Not all of the time, of course. But mainly, and that's what counts...

Jski - You're a better man than I am when it comes to pictures. I think I had two whole pictures of Kiev while I was there. If I had done what you had done, I probably would have forgotten to take a picture of the Castle!

BTW, about pictures, there is a Ukraine medium format camera that I have my eye on called the Kiev 88. You can buy it here for about $400. Victoria's dad found it there for $300, but he thinks it would be cheaper in Kiev, instead of Kherson... If anyone catches a price on it in their travels, drop me a line...

Nice to see some pictures once in a while.

At least for me it adds another dimension to the somewhat closed little world here at P-L when you get to see the faces behind the postings.

I especially liked those haunting grey eyes of Victoria's - visible in the photo at the pool when she is turned away from you.

Has she told you that many people often accuse young girls with such color eyes as being "witches"? No wonder you were bewitched when you met her --smile--.
