A while ago Jack had called me saying that MTV had contacted him about finding a young couple where the man had met his Russian wife over the internet.  He had asked if we were interested.  Never heard anything back, perhaps the idea of marriage was too deep for MTV.  I guess they decided to go with a single guy looking for a good time.  Too bad I missed this show though, we were grocery shopping, I would have really liked to have seen it.  I'm sure it will rerun about a million times, as everything else on MTV does.

Instead they play this real world crap and game shows.

They've ran off their viewers, trying to lure in viewers.

MTV ranks right up there with the FoxNetwork, T&A network, ratings, ratings, ratings.  Content zilch.

The show featured a well to do 29yo guy from Miami.  They show the guy dancing with some Miami hotties, but ya have to ask yourself... Why is this guy going over in the first place?

No doubt MTV paid for his trip over.

Well aparently, they used AFA for his social (I'm not sure)... Unless that's you Jack with the girlish figure.

There wasn't much of a plot.
What they show is him hitting on the 22yo interperter and asks her out for a date.  What a cutey, too.   But she has a kid and that's like a deadend street for that guy.

It shows this guy sitting at a table full of women, having a good time and this interpreter all kinda alone and bummed out.  As it's apparent this guy swooning over the translator initally and then discarding her for these older looking scammers.

Many of his comments resonate about what a trip is like and what to expect from the women in general.

They went to St. Petersburg and had two socials.
They showed women lining up outside the doors to get in, like a cattle call.
(Just seeing that I know that is not the way Jack runs his social).

Funny thing is they didn't mention anything about scammers and such.  The guy said once he got back home to Miami he's keeping his options open as he plays about his town.

I have only read of how Jack runs his socials but to me it sounds like a much better way to run things.  Just invite the girls that the men are interested in.  It may not really piss off the girls not being invited since they might just end up sitting there anyway.  A big problem with a regular social would be that you can't find the girl you wanted to meet for all the girls you didn't want to meet.  I think it saves them a lot of rejection too so that isn't so bad.
