To all the men on the board (women shouldn't read this)

In my whole life there is one vegetable that I've hated, and that is celery. I just can't stand the taste. Yesterday after having posted some inflammatory posts, (to those of you who replied, I will reply, just haven't had time), I began to think what to make for dinner today (yes, it was already Thursday here). In my cookbook I found a recipe from southern Europe. It looked delicious and I decided to try it. One of the ingredients were, however, celery. Why not, I  would give celery a second chance. I said to myself, Haroshij, you like to be a creative man who is not afraid to take some calculated risks:-). On my way home from job I drove to the supermarket and did some shopping: fish I had in the freezer, tomatoes in the fridge, but I needed some onion, garlic, mushrooms, carrots and celery, not forget that and some dry white wine.

I prepared the dish and when my wife arrived, I had everything on the table with candle lights. My wife looked at the dish and said: "You have some celery here, I see". Yes, I confirmed that without understanding why she was smiling. Then she turned to me smiled and said: "Maybe we go early to bed tonight". I was a little surprised as I didn't understand the situation. Since some of you have named me, a stupid moron and a merry-Andrew and are more educated and more intelligent than me, it is maybe obvious for you at this moment what she meant. However I had to ask, if it was something special she was thinking of. She answered me that she had noticed that I had used celery and that makes a man strong, strong in the way women like :-) ( in case some of you still want to suggest something about me, I will quickly underline that I don't have any such problems, but you can never get too much of a good thing :-)). In Russia she told me, they have that belief, she was, however, not sure if it had the same effect on men in Norway. What later happened  is censored by KenC,  the word-watcher on this board :-).

So friends and enemies, I give all you this good advice for free. Celery my help you.

See my post to johnnydudeman. I'm new to this, so I would like to know something from you guys who are more experienced than me. What  will the effect be when you eat together with blueberry and vanilla ice cream? What about it when everything is working well and you start to eat it. I'm a little afraid it may be too strong. What do you believe?

Johnnydudeman, I'm very grateful to you. Think about it, all my life I've been living without celery and without knowing this. I've started to wonder how I have been able to attract women at all without celery, maybe I've survived because I love to pick and eat blueberry and ice-cream. I will never ever laugh at my wife's good advice from Russia.
I'm just thinking, what will the  result of this be now as I know about celery? I think you must be a devoted celery eater? Do you mind sharing your experiences with the rest of us?

You ought to pick up a copy and actually read it. They post pictures of chicks, too.

Not like Maxim, STUFF, or FHM... but it is DEFINITELY not gay. (It is about 100 IQ points above those other rags, though)

It is VERY well written and VERY intelligent.

Read it. Seriously. You'll see.

you do have clear up a few things about celery.
There is the celery branches, that they do put in drink, like bloody mary in North America.
Or celery, where we only eat the leafs, it is a fine herb like.  This one can be use in many things, it si quite tasty and strong, very good in italian sauce.

You misunderstood me. It wasn't my intention to suggest that you are  a Puritan, on the contrary. Oops I did it again.  I didn't get this correct either. You know sometimes it's very difficult to express oneself in a foreign language. I ask you to be patient with me. I just noticed that you were in a  hurry to cry for Patrick to censor some posts, but you see,  Patrick has no objections to discussions and even agited discussions. A little temperature above the  average creates more emotional commitment and more interest. And that is not bad for his business either as long as we don't violate the rules he has set. I've with pleasure noticed that Patrick is a very tolerant person.
