yes, a friend called me, yesterday afternoon, my time.  He is spending the winter in Cannes,
France.    He told me that, he had found a phone card at 2½ cents - canadian - a minute.
Forget to ask the name of the card company.
If anybody cares to know,  I can call him and ask.

Yes, of course, we always care about the latest phone deal.  Especially if these rates are good for calling 'from' outside north america.  There are many good deals or calling 'from' inside NA, but I haven't seen such deals for calling from outside NA.

will try to have the answer for you soon.   Just try to call France,  but perhaps, because it  is 7:30 at night over
there and a saturday night,  no response on the phone.
Must be out for dinner, theater, what have you.
