I do love social democracy, wishing the anglo-saxon world
knew about social-democracy.
As for the weather in winter. What the hell, here in Québec, we had freezing rain this morning in the south of the Province. Tonight, we have zero celcius, hardly New
Year's temperature and no snow on the ground in Montréal.
But we do have in our eyes the blue that his missing in our
sky.
Tonight, it is now 17:00 hours, there will be 8 peoples
in the house, plus my two dogs ( during the dinner, they
do have all the fun, eating like pigs - everyone takes their turn feeding them).
I have promise myself not to drink more than two bottles of
red wine, french, of course. One is from California, a
Modavi '98. The main course is a "speciality from the Lake
Saint-Jean region, call six pastes. A big meat pie, 8-9
inches high, made with hare, deer, moose...etc. It has been
cooking since last night.
Of the eight persons, four are kids, a man eighties, his
girl 74 and two girls 13 and 15.
The other four are serious peoples, between 30 and 53.
The warmth and the singing as we go along, makes, always
for a nice evening.
The fireplaces are going strong, all this to say that it is
nice to be from the north, sometime.
Have a good one.
