Mark, as LP, Jack and others have already mentioned, you have basically broken about every rule designed to protect a man in this pursuit and when you preach to newbies about it, it is worrisome.

*You found a woman who you had in the sack within 20 minutes after meeting her (your words) and you actually seem proud of this for some reason?  Most people would be embarrassed Mark..
*You completely supported her financially there the entire time while waiting for her.
*You have been told that this woman has not been honest with you about some issues yet you refused to even speak to her about them for fear of "offending" her.
*You admit you married her ONE WEEK after she got here so you could claim her as a tax deduction for 2002..

Do you honestly think any of the above sounds in any way rational to anyone?  Yet even with all of this being the sad case, you still have no trouble being as condescending as ever..

I've a question for you: what has been your wife's opinion of well, the shear availability to everything. To clarify, I mean -mass consumption of everything and our (as a nation) acquiescence to it.

I have a buddy, in San Diego, who married a Russian gal (he met her here, however). Her initial reactions to "shopping" were hilarious, if only because, she became down right hostile with her fellow shoppers. LOL..

It was like... a New Yorker on speed, dropped in a quaint southern town. I wouldn't have believed it, until I saw it for myself. Other than that, she is a gem for him & "them."
They've been married for about 4 years, but..

Just curious, (after recaling her Randy White moves in the meat section...)

Do what I do: Ignore him until he initiates. My position has long been that I will completely ignore this sorry azz excuse for a man until he takes a shot at me. Then I'll respond hard one time and go back under my rock. As long as he wants to hang on I'll be happy to oblige, but I'll never initiate nor perpertrate it.  He clearly can't let go and I'm running out of patience with him. That I've been so damn tolerant is what's startin to piss me off. If I didn't feel so sorry for this clown's future I'd have come down on him hard by now. All I'll say is she'd better wise him up or I'll do it for her.

Btw, he reads every post I make. Do do you honestly believe such a puzzy ego would not?
