Has anyone heard about K-3 being issued from Kiev?  I have been waiting for my INS approval now for 90 days not including the filing of the I-130.  That would take it to 120 days now.  I do not suggest to anyone that they take the K-3 route.

Anyone heard anything?  I just got back from Kiev after spending 8 weeks there with my wife.  This will be the third time I have had to leave her behind.  It is getting very painful.

Anyone have any suggestions?  I married her in Kiev on April 13 and came home and applied for a K-3 visa.  DR went this route and it seemed fast for him to get his wife home on a K-3 but this was back in Nov-Dec 2001.  Now it is running allot longer.  The visa gets issued out of the Kiev embassy and not Warsaw.

I guess all I can do is wait.  Hope someone has words of encouragement.  Dan?  You seem to have the right words.

Best Regards,

Jimmy

Hey!  Someone remembers me.  Hehe.  Yep, we did do the K-3, and it was very fast.  I'm sorry to hear that things have slowed a bit.  Best of luck to you!

I had some encouraging words for you.

If it is any comfort at all - once the long wait is finally over - (if your situation is anything like mine) you will be thanking your lucky stars that you two are together and the waiting period quickly fades into distant memory.

Jimmy, have you contacted your congressmen to ask them to initiate an inquiry? It can't hurt - and at a minimum, they should be able to provide some realistic timelines for the remaining wait.

I *reallY* wish I had more comforting news.

Please keep me posted. You have the phone numbers.

Best Regards,

- Dan

Jack,

Do you know any info about Moscow and visa issuing? All I hear are rumors and the like. I hear that anything approved then goes back to dc for another check taking 6 weeks EXCEPT July 22 - september 18th is nearly 9 weeks..
Has anyone gotten a visa in their hand from Moscow since july 22? I haven't heard anything about it if so.

I have no confirmation on anyone being given a visa in Moscow now for several weeks. I have about 7 clients now who are waiting everyday for some good news. As soon as they have been told there visa is waiting they are going to let me know.

Hey Jack,

What about that guy who popped on here a few weeks back and said that he had "clients" who were being told it would be four weeks.

On one hand, he seemed legit. On the other, I had never heard of him before (or since) and his information seems incorrect.

You ever talk to him?

Just curious...

Not sure who the guy is, guess I would have to go back and check the archives. I don't know that I ever talked to him but it's at the point now that I don't remember who I talked with last week. That's why e-mails are so important to me, I can keep up with things as long as I can see and read e-mail messages.

I thought you and a few others would be glad to hear about the same day visa's coming out of Warsaw.
