Hi Everyone !

First of all I want to wish a great weekend for all of you.   I have a little question on the back of my mind and maybe you guys can help me.    Even though I spend most of my time in the U.S.A. I am a latin guy (not born in U.S.A) and in a lot of this "latin" countrys it is not very dificult for a girl to tell you she loves you.   What I mean is that sometimes this words donīt come from the bottom of their hearts.

About Russian Woman in general, do they really mean what they say when they say "I love You" ?    I understand it may depend on the person but just as a general idea of the Russian Culture do this words really have a strong meaning when mention by a Russian Woman ?

Thanks guys for taking the time to read my post.

I think for most RW it is not easy to say these words.  And if they say it - they mean it!!!  They usually don't say it until they are 100% sure you are The One:-) otherwise it is considered a lie.

But I should note that all people are different... some can fall in love from the first sight and others need a lot of time to fall in love.

And it is also very true that most Russians (not only women) when they are in love prefer to DO something... to express they love by ACTION, rather than by SAYING "I love you" without doing anything.

Every RW that I've talked to in Russia had the same response when talking about love, they all said that to say the I love you thing to a man won't come from their mouths unless it is very deep in their hearts, and even then they are a little scared to say it, including my wife who prefers actions over words. From my conclusion, to RW's it's like saying a lie and swearing to God it's true if they say it and don't mean it. The nice girls that is.

Cordobes,
It wasn't until well into our relationship did my wife and I use the word "love".  I don't throw that word around without knowing it is true and neither did she.  I cannot speak for other RW.
