In life,  so much comes down to economics.  As it always has.  I spoke with a friend in my town who is a nice 21 year old girl who has in the last 3 years spent 1 year working here as an exchange student.  Her English is great.  We talk about America and money and adjustment of course.  As she says,  it really only took her 1 day to adjust to America.  No big deal!  " In my country,  at best I can make $70 per month and have to wait months to get paid.  Here I make that much in 1/2 a day and I am paid each week.  What adjustment to this is necessary???"  Does she miss everything in her homeland?  No.  Misses her mother,  that it.  Mom though is now almost rich from the money my friend sends her each month.  Where will she do her phd???...why here of course.  Is her 'adjustment " difficult???  Of course not.  Economics...plain and simple.  And the plunbing works.

Ahh Yes the adjustment for a better life is not so hard, she is sinlge has money yes life is good.... Now for the issue of Marriage and adjusting to that way of life what do you think would be her views then.  If she was in this country becuase she married someone to get here.  Maybe a little different?

not a pre-condition for her coming or being here...its all a non-issue.  But,  girls who do not have her language skills or intelligence will have to come the K-1 way.  And,  after that...and they are adjusted to the opportunity here...I wonder?  Love is love,  life is life...but money is money.
