Before everyone starts flaming you, I will admit to the fact that you do have some valid points.  Men cannot expect to win over a woman through veiled insults, intentional or not.

I agree with you that trust is imperative towards establishing a lasting relationship, but trust goes both ways.  If a woman is exhibiting suspicious behavior again and again, I would find what trust I had in her vanishing very quickly.

The "loyalty test" is a tough issue to call.  I think it is okay for committed partners to make certain that the commitment is valid.  But if the two of you have not made the commitment to each other, then such testing is pointless.

As far as realistic choices go, I think that everyone is too unique to say that all large age differences are unrealistic.  My wife and I have over 16 years between us and we really don't feel it unless we are talking about it, especially when it comes to family planning.  Large age differences can work in a relationship, but both parties need to be a little more patient and understanding.

As always, this is simply my 2¢ and strictly my opinion.  Your mileage may vary...
