My fiancee is leaving Moscow for Chicago on Saturday, and I have read
that they must get an exiting stamp when leaving Russia to be able to
return at a later date, I have seen where some have not got the stamp
and had problems from it. What my question is; is it a stamp on the
international passport that they are talking about, cause I would
think it would be automatic at the airport when she leaves, does anyone know?Huh?? if so how could one leave without getting it???

Thanks for any help in advance,
MikeC

Fiancees do not get exit stamps as they are merely traveling on a US visa. Once they become US citizens (AOS), they will need a "permission to live abroad" stamp to come and go from Ukraine.

MikeC,

The exiting stamp you are refering to is for Ukraine.  Their policies are different than in Russia.  She will receive a stamp, but this is just normal entry/exiting procedures.

Still lurking,

They will put a stamp in her passport even if she doesn't ask for it :-))) Don't worry about it at all.
