I would suggest that if you have not been there you should go. It is such a beautiful and wonderful city and we plan to return again only next time it will be in the summer. It was very cold but well worth it. If and when you do go, don't miss seeing Peterhof, Pushkin and Pavlovsk. They are the summer palace's of Peter, Catherine and her son Paul.
