My wife went to the embassy in Bogota today for her interview. She
told me the place was packed she thought everyone in Colombia
was trying to go to U.S.A. Anyway when she was called to the
window the woman there tried to pull a fast one on my wife by
telling her that her divorce paper was the wrong one. My wife told
her to reread the paper because it was valid for what was required.
The woman backed down and turned the papers in and told my
wife to go sit down to wait for the interview.
The interview ended up being nothing but some questions about
my family and that was it. I think it helped that my wife knew
everything about me and our papers were in order. So my wife and
her son are approved to come here now. She has to go tomorrow
to pick up her visa at 4:00pm and we are finished.
