Well Pete I think one of the biggest problems there to do with these stores is
stuff getting ripped off. If it don't leave thru the front it is going thru the back
door. I have a relative that does hiring for a major food store. Well they were
told to hire several people after it was all finished those same people were
backing trucks up to the back door and filling them with food for sale at other
locations... It drives the price up big time...

Uribe has said he would like to have the dollar back up around 3000 pesos to spur exports.That would be fine with me,raising my purchasing power 25% por so.But his actions in making Colombians more confident have probably had the opposite effect,raising the peso.Also the dollar is down compared to the euro and most other currencies.But in the past the peso would have dropped faster.
