Well

I do not post very often here anymore as i am just too busy with other things. The BS fighting is comical, please do not stop as i need my weekly dose of absurd entertainment !

I also get a real kick out of all these new guys, "which agency is best, which city is best, what about no shows " , same tired ass crap

Look, i did the agency thing before  as most have , but if you really want to find the sincere women, you better leran to speak and read spanish in the 70-80% range, and i am not BSin this , YOU GOT TO HAVE IT FOR SUCCESS WITH THESE WOMEN

I am going south soon and i have more quality then i know what to do with. all unreal , beautiful educated  workers that pay all there own bills and actually know what  a newspaper and world events are .

They are from all over the Colombia with the excpetion of Cali and the Valle de Cauca

There just is too many braindead  lazy ass women in that department for me to fool with anymore.

The real woman of colombia do not live there boys, but keep fooling yourself.

It took work to find them. sending out 100s of personals, hours on messenger and cam and foto exchange, but what you get in retun are the REAL LADIES  who would not be caught dead in an agency. Ask UTCowboy, he will tell you his wife would have never stepped foot in an agency and that thye are known to be full of VISA HO'S

I am not saying that you cannot find a decent woman in one, but the best of the best are not there, never were there and never will be there

But the one thing a dude has got to understand is  LEARN THE D??M SPANISH FOOL !!!

Fisrt post in months and prob. will the last for several more, but keep the bickering coming and the lousy, tired ass "WHAT AGENCY IS BEST " Posts and i will kepp popping the pocorn and look while i am watching Caliente and all those hot boddies reggietoning !!

My wife, like many paisas, is rather conservative and no, she would never have registered with an agency. I would say this is one of the reasons the agency scene in Medellin is so dismal. When talking to the women there, they just have the feeling, rightly or wrongly, that an agency is not a place for a respectable woman to meet a man. My wife thought she was rather daring to put her profile on the amigos.com internet site.

I dont know anything about your maritial situation, but I do agree about your assessment about Cali. In fact could not agree more.
Colombia is a lot more than Cali and has a lot more to offer than Cali.
Ask any person who has spent sufficient time in Medellin and Cali to compare the women. There is no comparison.
If Colombia was all about Cali, I would have never gone back either.
The Calenas, have this reputation throughout the country, so what you are saying is not new.
I think the man that loves Cali, is perfect for Cali.
Pete, with all the time AND MONEY you have invested in Cali, you still haven't found that special woman. Dating two women at the same time both of whom know about the other, doesn't count as a real relationship. In fact no other women in Colombia would put up with that save for the Calenas, who are in it for the most part for the almighty dollar$

The Calenas do not have a good reputation in Colombia as marriage material but as with all generalizations, it's probably wrong as often as it is true. I do suggest that serious men consider Medellin but hardly anyone bothers to take this advice.

I never mentioned anyting about Pete. You got me confused with someone else as pete is a good friend of mine

I speak from experience of traveling to many, many parts of colombia and talking with colombian people from all areas, and these are the conclusions based on those conversations, my experience with cali women and women from the cities, there personality differences and attitudes about work, responsabilities  and life in general

There is a huge difference in other cities and if you have never esplored the other cities , then you need to  becuase you will see the differences as well. Is not this forum a place to talk about different experiences , or is it a  PR site for Cali ?

Talk about the differences all you want but when you make stupid generalizations, you'll be challenged.  And don't think you're the only one who has travelled in Colombia.  I have, I've heard this kind of talk before, "the sexiest women are Calenas, the ugliest and coldest Bogotanas and the best wives from Medellin and don't forget the costenenas, the men there have sex with donkeys". lol Come on, take this kind of talk with a grain of salt.  Don't let your bad experiences with Calenas,  cloud your good judgement.  Learn the language yes but also learn to tell what a women with class and principles is.  There not just in Medellin, they're all over Colombia.

I laughed at the comment about the costenos. My wife's mother's family is from Monteria and they told me about this. They claim that it's true. OK, true sometimes. They say the guys think they'll be hung like donkeys if they have sex with them. Wishful thinking on their part, creo.

in their reference to Pete, not you! Don't play silly in saying that this is a PR site for Cali. No Women, no City deserves to be bashed. My point is the blanket statements made about Cali & it's women. I've had some very bad experiences with people from Bogota & Med on how they treat the rest of their countrymen....But I don't go around beating the drum saying that they suck, now do I? There's good & bad everywhere, but you've seen to put on some blinders in regards to your opinions on the city & people of Cali.

Cali, has had more successes & failures than probably any two other South and/or Central American cities combined. Of course success & failure can & will be found in any other city. Love is where you find it....and where it finds you! Don't even try to paint me in some "rah-rah Cali only" corner.....ain't gonna happen!

I think Cali has had more successes and failures because it's the only place most gringoes seem to think about when they think about Colombia and South America. Personally the paisas are a lot more to my taste than the Calenas but each to his own. Guys need to think about other places like Manizales or Monteria.

I don't necessarily condone what Pete's doing but he's at least honest about it.  Your statement that only a Calena would put up with it is again just pure fantasy.  There are lots of women in Colombia who know their man has another women but they put up with it.  Some rationalize that they're woman number one and others hope that the other may someday go away.  I think a woman is foolish to put up with it if she's very serious about the guy but foolishness is not unique to Cali.

Your the funny one!  First post on the board and instead of being a polite new participant, you insult the women of Cali by making sweeping generalizations that you've yet to provide any evidence for.   And as far as "Cali" apologist goes, I'd be making the same argument if someone said Calenas were better women than Bogotenas.  That would be an equally stupid generalization.  Anyway, I spent a year living in Cali on and off and had no problem meeting nice respectable women. Sure there's some sharks hanging out at the agencies but there not that difficult to spot if you're reasonably in tune with what's going on around you.

Colombia is certainly a lot more than just Cali and a person can find a good woman for marriage just about anywhere.  But this idea that Medellin women are somehow better, whatever that means, sounds like fantasy to me.  Medellin has more of a business base than Cali but I don't see how that would make them more honest or sincere than Calenas or Bogotanas.  Women are women for the most part.  The kind of things that might influence values exist for the most part equally in larger cities.  You're much more likely to see value differences between cities and rural areas if you ask me.
