I don't know how many weddings TLC is averaging a week but I attended one of the TLC parties Bruce had in Dec. and it was pretty nice.

I met all the guys that were on his tour and at least 3 that I know of got engaged. I'm not sure how wise that is but hey it's their life.

One of the guys that got engaged was in his 60's and he hooked up with a woman in her early 40's. The guy lived in Alaska and admitted that he hadn't had a date in 7 years!

Now Jake I can see how going all the way to colombia and still not being able to get a date could leave you feeling a little frustrated and.....well....a little skeptical of the agency scene. But with Bruces tours it's a whole different ball game. You can never say the women didn't show up or you were left waiting around because I've seen 400 to 500 women show up at his parties in Cali. Of course there is a down side. If you strike out at the parties, there is nobody to blame but yourself. hehehe !!!

I don't know about you Jake but I'm going to Bruces parties in June. Sure they're a little pricey but were the hell are you ever going to meet 800 or so women in a couple of days time. Now that's service!

Out of about 400 women at a typical TLC party there will be about 10-15 that I would say meet my very high expectations. I will meet them all and get all of their phone numbers in under 3 hours and then ask the absolutely best looking woman at the party to go out dancing with me that very night. I haven't been turned down yet.

My worst nightmare would be to spend three weeks sitting at an agency and meeting 50-60 women. I have seen guys that have met over 25 in a week. Personally I couldn't do it. I typically don't meet more than say five women from any one agency on a given trip and if after meeting five I can't find one that I like and that likes me...well then...I guess it would be time to see what Russia has to offer.

Within five minutes of meeting a woman, I know if she is my type or not. If she isn't I have to spend the next hour trying to be nice. If she is,I just want to cancel the rest of my appointments for the day and take her out right then and there. But I can't because most likely I have more appointments after her. Sometimes you get lucky and the last one you meet in the day is the hottest;-)  

Hey don't you watch FOX news? Saddam sent the WMD to Syria. hehehe!!!

I doubt if it's true but that one statement from Bush scared the Syrians so bad that they actually are trying to stop insurgents from Syria from crossing over into Iraq.

Personally I think Iraq has become a meca for terrorists and I hate to see your guys in uniform becoming soft targets for every terrorist that can't afford a plane ticket to the U.S:-(

You're right you couldn't do it. hehehe!!

The women start coming at 6:30 to 7:00 to get their pictures taken before the party even starts. Who says you have to wait until the party starts to meet the women. I have gone in the room where the women are waiting to get their pictures taken and gotten numbers before they even made it into the party. There is no end time to the parties that I know of but the pickens get slim after 11pm so I always ask the best looking one out. Lets face it the parties are not as exciting for the ladies as they are for the guys. How would you like to go to a party with 50 women and four hundred GUYS! But that leaves you the perfect opportunity to get a date with the best looking woman in the place. She is bored by 11pm she is all dressed up and no where to go.

I know where you are coming from Jake. I have seen guys go to a TLC party and come out empty handed. I have seen guys leave with out one phone number. They didn't even bring a piece of paper and a pen!

I don't care if there were 100 guys at a TLC party I would get the numbers of the hottest women in the party in under 3 hours. These guys are amateures compared to me. hehehe !!

Heres a tip for guys like you Jake so they have better luck. Always hire an interpreter at the TLC parties even if you speak good spanish. She can cut into a conversation with a hottie that is talking to another american so you can meet her. That way you don't look to forward and the other american would look a little stupid punching a young women out. hehehe!!!

Second tip always have your interpreter write the phone number down and don't talk to any one woman for more than 20 minutes max. Remember if women like you they are watching you. Sure they look like they are talking to another guy but if they are interested they are watching YOU. Nothing worst than calling a hottie that you met at the party last night to find out she is pissed because you talked to another woman longer than her and because she watched you write down 10 phone numbers. Also when you take the hottest one out that night, don't walk out with her. Say good bye to as many women that you got phone numbers from as you can and meet the hottest one in the lobby.

Most guys that go on TLC tours are completely clueless. But with a few pointers from me, they can become the ladies man they always dreamed of being. hehehe!!

Listen I'm not saying that everyone is going to have the same experiance that I have when I go to Cali. But I wouldn't keep going to TLC parties or marriage agenies if they where a bad deal for me. Now whether or not they are a good deal for you is the question you have to ask yourself. If you feel that you can attract a woman and have something to offer her then I think Colombia is the way to go. If on the other hand you don't feel confidant about you ability to keep a woman's attention for more than say a few minutes then I would stay clear of Colombia and go to Asia or something.

The bottom line is having bad teeth, bad breath and or being more than say 50lbs over weight can not be over come by giving Bruce or any marriage agency in Colombian any amount of money.

I am puzzled how you could not see this, or at the very least, as a blatant attempt at humor? Now I understand there are always those that don’t get it so for them I concluded by saying this was parody. Now after all this how could you not know this? You are very quick to attack others and I don’t dispute your experiences or your justification for brining them out in the open but maybe if you weren’t as angry you could see things for what they are? An angry man will have difficulty laughing.

You need to take responsibility for your choices. With a little preliminary work you could avoid selecting a troubled agency. If one choices to eat from a street vendor in Colombia you only have one person to blame and its not the cook.

Jake I never said your question (5000 weddings in 10 years) wasn’t legitimate the point was my post was a joke and you didn’t recognize it as so and it appears you still don’t get it. Before the guy can even say anything you addressed the man rudely as "Big Bruce." So you got burned in the past by your own bad decision making and you want to go after anyone with the title of agency owner. If you really wanted to know the answer to this question why didn’t you talk to him directly? You were on the website why didn’t you call him? Instead you’re not looking for information you’re just trying to provoke. Again this is not to say you don’t have a legitimate question but I question your method.

If you want insurance on any agency get referrals. You appear not want to take responsible for some of your decisions in this matter.
