... in response to Update us about your story  N/T, posted by Heat on Apr 1, 2005

Hey Heat. Well, I have been going to S.A. and C.A. since I was about 6. Currently I am living in Fort Lsuderdale but I am looking for an apartment in Cali. I am there about every two weeks and getting tired of the hotel scene.

I sold my demolition business here and I am trying to figure out a decent business in Cali. If anybody has any ideas, I am all ears.

As far as the orphanage is concerned, we have 45 girls with room to accommadate about 120. It's a nice facility located near the Intercontinental Hotel. At this moment I am making a DVD about the orphanage and I will be happy to send a copy to anybody that is interested.

Also, if anybody has any experience in obtaining a colombian visa and bank account, any advice would be useful.

Well time to enjoy the Lauderdale beach. See ya David

Hello David,

Welcome back.  As you are living in Florida you might want to give Docurapid a call regarding your obtaining a visa, either work or possibly a pensionado.  I've heard that they are very helpful and work with the consulate.  Here is their contact information.

Docurapid
300 Aragon Ave, Suite 390, Coral Gables, FL 33134  (786) 552-5011

To open a bank account in Colombia you will need a cedula.  In order to obtain the cedula I believe you have to have a visa (other than tourist) first.

I'd like to get one of those DVD's when they are available.  Drop me a line at my profile email address or leave yours as it's undisclosed.

Thanks for the info Pablo. Also, I think the DVD should be finished in two weeks.
