The Fiance VISA application talks about a letter of intention that you understand that you will marry the person within 90 days.

How do I and my Fiance write this letter?

I, woman name, wish to marry man name, therefore we are applying for a K-1 fiancee visa. We have known each other since date when he came to visit me and we met in person in city country. I, woman name, am legaly free to marry becasue I am never_married/divorced/widowed/previous_marriage_annulled. I understand that the K-1 fiancee visa is only good one entry into the United States, for 90 days and that we must marry within that time or I must leave the United States if for any reason we do not marry. signature, date.

(man writes similar letter-I have known woman since date, etc). Woman's letter should be in her native language and a certified translation into English included with it.

Certified translation? Who is 'certified'? I did my own. Basicaly anybody competent can do it. (no education nor 'native speaker' type rules are specified, just that the person is competent). I don't have the forms in front of me, but they do give a required wording (which you can get off their website), something like: I, name, certify that I am conversant in both x_language and Englush and that this is a true and accurate translation of the document ___leter of intent to marry__- which is attached.

I, (Players Name), wish to marry (Suckers Name), therefore we are applying for a K-1 fiancee visa.(thank the gods above I have found a sucker) We have known each other (one day) since date when he came to visit me ( which took all the sexy, romantic, alluring B.S. i could dish out to talk him into coming) and we met in person in city country(who cares where we met, as long as I get to go to the land of the Big Walmart and Micky Mouse). I, (Players Name Again), am legaly free to marry becasue I am (willing to tear his butt up in bed until he screams like that little monkey in the new Sierra Mist Commercial ..have never_married/divorced/widowed/previous_marriage_annulled.(and even if I did, I will bribe someone to take care of it and he will never know)  I understand that the K-1 fiancee visa is only good for one entry into the United States (which is all I need)for 90 days ( uggg that long)and that we must marry (well, guess i have to, a girl has to do what a girl has to do) within that time or I must leave the United States (fat chance, even if I have to go hide from the INS) if for any reason we do not marry(I will, but only because I want half of all his s***). signature, date.

joking by the way, I couldnt resist playing with the letter Smiley
