I looked at past archives but I guess the answers to my questions were not specific enough:

Please help on the following:

Some recommend that Form I-824 be filed with the I-129F (for Texas center) is this correct or not and if is filed then what information do I fill in for Part 3 (Processing Information)-- since there is no filing receipt #, Date Approved, etc.,

Scond question:

I want to include the Affidavit of Support along with the I-129F but do I need to submit everything in duplicate (job letter, bank, statements, etc.)

thanks

You do not include the affidavit of support with the I-129F petition.  They ask the woman to bring it to the interview at the US embassy in her country.  I think they do it that way because it lets you hold final approval until the last moment.  If it takes them 6 months to approve your visa maybe you will change you mind.  After they approve the visa you can still stop the process if you don't give her the affidavit of support.

That's what I thought that the Affidavit...comes later but another guy had recommended I do this to add support to my petition--

It wouldn't hurt, I suppose, if you want to send it now.  If they've changed policies and want it now, then you're protected.

I've done a K1 petition twice, in 1999 and in 2002.  The first time they sent me a letter asking for proof that we had met.  I didn't include photos of us together and they want that.  I didn't see that on the instructions in 1999.  Maybe it was there.  Anyway, it's an obvious point.

The second time, last year, the visa went through without a hitch.  I didn't hire a lawyer either time, but you have to pay attention to the details because if you forget something they will ask you for it, and that will delay the visa another month or two.

You are right about the instructions--But what's frustrating is that sometimes  other people do in a slightly different way from the instructions and it still works-
I also wished INS would be more objective and publish a clear cut list of proof of relationship documents (#of e-mails, # of personal letters, # of photos etc.,)There's still lot of this stuff that's left up to the petioner to figure out. I would imagine this might be useful to avoid people sending to much #%$$@ or less of it--At the same time this makes their job easier--

I still have a question on the I-824 (Application on Action on an Approved Application)--Did you send this along with the I-129F?--Some people tell me you do other say no and I am confused on this because if one sends it in along with the petition then part of has to be left blank--

Thanks for the help

I did not send the Application on Action on an Approved Application.  I don't think it is required, it is not clear to me that it speeds up the process, and it costs $100+ (I think).
