Hi people!!!!

I have a problem...I used to get laid of every year for about 3 months.....

What would happen if in the process of a K1 I got laid off?Huh

Would they notice that, or this is not a problem?Huh?

Cheers!

They likely wouldn't know. I  don't know how they could, that's not something they track.

When you submit your affdavit of support to the Colombian embassy you fiance must include a letter from your employer stating you work and the annual salary. I was told to update mine so my letter was dated a few days before the interview in Bogota. Plus when you apply for an adjustment of satus in the states you will again need to verify employment.

You need to document up until you apply. If you got laid off later they would probably not know about it.
