Ray, et al

We are getting all of our ducks in a row while waiting for news from the Embassey in Manila.  Gerlie asked me a good question.

Does she need a Certificate of No Marriage even though she was never married?  I believe it's call a CENOMAR.

Thanks in Advance Smiley

H,

The CENOMAR is not required and the embassy usually will not accept a copy supplied by the applicant. If the embassy decides they want a marriage index check done, they will order it themselves from NSO.

Some have claimed that if you order your own copy before the interview, then it will not take as long to run another marriage check if the embassy orders it, but I have no idea whether that is true or not.
