Hong Kong customs officials seized 2,800 machine guns and 20,000  
unloaded magazines in transit from Malaysia to the United States at
Kwai Chung container terminal, a spokesman said on Monday.

!!!?

Guns to the USA?  This is the 2nd shipment of guns to the USA caught in a month.  I'm so confused?  We can buy guns here.

It more than likely has to do with the 1986 assault rifle ban.    No imports.

The ban was 1994 and may expire this september and just FYI, illegal machine guns bring a LOT of money.
