Hi Patrick,

With all of the trolls running through some of the forums recently, I was curious if it would be feasible to include the poster’s IP address in each message like you used to do on the old forum. That way we could all give you a hand in spotting some of the trolls :-)

I don't think there were many trolls.  It's more a perception because once I ban a couple of people, everyone starts assuming anyone new is a troll.  I see this much more on the Latin board.  They were accusing everyone of being someone else for a few days.  The logs don't support the accusations though.

Posting IP addresses reduces privacy, especially for those with fixed I.P. addresses, like some cable and DSL users have.
