Although the guy said it could take 12-13 months to receive the new card by mail, I figured it would be more like 12-13 weeks.  However, it only took about a month.

By the way, for anyone in the Seattle area:

the BCIS office does not take walk-ins anymore, you must have an appointment or make one (reducing the line out to the street).  Check their website, and/or call them to make an appointment.  And, late this year (I believe), they will move to a new office in Tukwila near South Center Mall -- so, the Seattle BCIS will no longer be in Seattle.

I sort of thought the "12-13 months" sounded odd and that  they meant weeks instead.
However after waiting 15 months for an interview, we get used to expecting anything.

PS..That nickname (TPC) cracks me up! I taped "Beavis and Butthead Does America" but can't for the life of me find it anywhere. Did you know that show ran in Russia?

Yep Karl, I watched it the evening before "rejoining" the board.  There was a bit of delay from Patrick, but he gave me a passwd that goes along.
