My next trip to Ukraine I am employing THE FULL BLITZ.
By that I mean I have hired someone locally in a city much "less travelled" then the big cities and together we have arranged ads to go in the local papers along with local tv ads and also flyers to be handed out at the local university ( her idea) plus a couple of other techniques I will describe at a late date.
When I arrive in the city I expect to have a lot of meetings with "non typical" girls you normally see on websites and with agencies.
I want to find that special girl that is not getting a lot of mail and promises from western men. Shy of moving over there I think this may well be the best approcach. I will keep all posted of the successes and failures of this approach.
PS....No I will not cough up which city it is until I venture over there and back. Suffice to say I have never heard of anyone going there on a visit nor any of the tour companies, but it is a city that most would recognize.

or a small village in bumfuk egypt (Ukraine!)...well after 1 1/2 years of searching web sites writing ladies & visiting the country I decided that many of the ladies from large towns such as Lugansk & ESPECIALLY Kiev the ladies were NOT much different than American women. What a bummer!!!! What a curse!! Anyways I decided that my BEST chances were to find a lady from a small village that was not "corrumpted" by the big city attitudes that are so prevalent in US or in ANY other big cities. I decided upon this after a Ukrainian friend of mine had me meet several ladies during my 1st visit after it did not work out with my internet set up girl.
I decided to place an ad through Jack on First Dream. I REALLY was interested in a lady from the Lugansk region as I was already familiar with the city of Lugansk or the Kiev region but NOT actually from Lugansk or Kiev. I was more interested in a lady from that REGION but NOT from the big cities themselves. I decided THAT was what I was searching for. After placing my ad & receiving well over 60 inquiries I settled on 1 lady from the Zhytomir region from a small village/town named Radomyshl. I took a "huge" gamble due to other circumstances which I will write about in detail when I get around to doing my travel report & visited ONLY HER. Well, I was very blessed that she WAS everything I was looking for & THEN SOME.  She was the FIRST lady that actually lived up the most of the sites claims about Ukrainian ladies.
I wish you the very best in your search & I think you are on the right track with your method.
Diana had NEVER written a man before, was NOT interested in coming to the USA (of course things have changed), had NEVER used the internet, did NOT subscribe to ANY agencies services, & in short did PLAN on finding a man through this method. I am VERY blessed of God in finding her.
I guess I tried a similar BLITZ of my own & came up a winner. Hopefully next month I'll be there to marry her. Good luck!!

Why don't you want some more protection and time for yourself by going through the fiance visa route.  Even country girls can get "smart" fast.

I agree Turner, excellent approach. Like Hockey Guy, and I assume many more, will look forward to your later report.

Only thing I might comment on is the passing out of information on flyers at the university. Tried this a couple of times and most the girls really didn't have interest in marriage while they were still attending school.

Jack, awhile back you indicated your were going to provide your observations about how the "search process" has changed over the past few years regarding the expectations of the RW and what to expect.  I am sure that these comments would be of benefit and interest to all and I hope that you will be able to provide them soon.
