The Present Moment

The present moment is the most profound and challenging teacher we
will ever meet in our lives. It is a compassionate teacher, it extends
to us no judgment, no censure, no measurement of success and failure.
The present moment is a mirror, in its reflection we learn how to see.
Learning how to look into this mirror without deluding ourselves is
the source of all wisdom. In this mirror we see what contributes to
the confusion and discord in our lives and what contributes to the
harmony and understanding. We see the relationship between pain and
its cause on a moment-to-moment level, we see the bond between love
and its source. We see what it is that connects us and what it is that
alienates us.

To again give an 'honest' appreciation for this board and the crap that the hosts has put up with-for no profits. I have been married for a few years now and the board is no longer a vessel for me nor is it a crutch to lean heavily on while waiting for my wife. At one time this board was where I could come with kindred spirits-much like AA. But now it is just part of my routine. Human nature is at its finest here and we all enjoy a good brawl. Why we humans get enjoyment from other's misery is beyond me-but that is life. So, I would like to make it known that I am aware of my immature history and I will not apologize but again give thanks for the tolerance. I just hope that those seeking marriage or life mates in the FSU do not get frustrated or become agitated. I hope they post without hesitation and fear of being criticized. This is a great board with a great format. I come here for its ease and flexibility. So, newbies it is time to start the new blood. All of you lurkers, POST

We see the present through the glass of the past and the future is the reflection of the present

Tnterpretation - how we view the present will always be subjectively reflected by our past and the future will be determined by the choices we make today.
