I had mentioned before I had given my fiance a set of golf clubs for Christmas.  I had asked her how she knew she would like it and her response was "if you like it, I vill like it!  We vill do things togezer, always togezer!"  LOL!  Well, we went to the driving range today, it's in the 50's here in Salt Lake and the golf courses are full!  Nobody is skiing, just golfing!
Well, I was pretty surprised... she was just doggedly determined to hit that ball well first time out and really hit some nice balls.  One of the teachers came up and told her that he only wanted her hitting on the professional side, not the amateur side because she was too good!  LOL!  She really loved that, of course she looked great and I'm sure that he gets lots of lessons lined up by his compliments etc..  I told her that I had a different guy in mind already for some lessons and she was thrilled.
It's just so cool to see someone want to try something like this just because they want and believe they should be with you..  It was a fun time, she really did enjoy herself and can't wait to go back..
Since she can't work right now, I just KNOW that I am going to come home from work tomorrow and the back lawn is going to be all divit'd out! LOL!  She will probably swing a club for 3 hours! LOL!  Gotta love that spirit!

She may never hit that well again.  A real golfer knows that one good day on the course means nothing and a warmup on the driving range means nothing also.  If she wants to hit the ball harder you can have her do some conditioning with strengthening her forearms and club swinging muscles.

you are going to have to support a $100 to $300 per week habit-worse than crack. Then comes the shoes, shirts, lalalala. Been there done that. I had to buy a condo on a course-so I could sneek out and play....

Ps. Playing golf is on my wife's 'must to do' list!
