If you think you might get a bit bored and have some time on your hands while in Ukraine, drop me a line and I'll send you some contact information for a friend of mine in Lviv. He is a teacher at the Institute of Music there and IIRC, his specialty is guitar. He is VERY much into the music scene in Ukraine - and I am sure he'd love to compare 'notes' with you (pun intended --smile--).

Also - if you can spare the time, Lviv is a wonderful city to visit. It is in western Ukraine - NOT in the direction you are traveling presently - but since your plans might be flexible, I thought I'd mention it.

Hey yeah! I'm a guitar player. I mean I do that for a living. I teach & play in band. I doubt I'll be in Lviv but if I can have his e mail or phone I'd be glad to give him a call. Funny but I've been checking out the virtualtraveler web page to check out the clubs that have live music. I'm reall interested in hearing that. Man that would be really great.
