Anyone experienced with Siberian Airlines?

Thinking of flying atl to frankfurt now with ba, (fares are quite cheap, even on short notice), and then siberian to novo.

Any input would be appreciated.

I flew Siberian Air from Moscow to Novokuznetsk and back this past Jan/Feb.  The flight back to Moscow was about 5 hours late on departure.  The reason I was given was that the weather was bad in Moscow.  When I finally arrived in Moscow it was sunny and about 20 F.  So who knows.

Other than that I had no problem.  I have never taken the flight from Frankfurt to Novosibirsk.

I will be taking this same flight in June.  I am having a friend in Russia purchase these tickets for me.  The price they can get the tickets for is about $100.00 less than the quotes I received from various travel agents in Russia.

My Russian friends in Novosibirsk recommend the Frankfort to Novosibirsk route because they feel customs is fairer in Novosibirsk vs flying to Moscow and potentially getting reamed.  They like Aeroflot better than Siberian Air.  I have flown Aeroflot alot without incident - one time to Novosibirsk and I will be flying them two more trips within the next two months, once to Novosibirsk (I am taking Delta to Moscow and then Aeroflot to Novosibirsk).  I'd give it a try if I were you.
