Idle Curiosity at Paladar in Cali

We went to lunch at the Paladar restaurant on sexta A. As we paid my wife pointed out that the woman behind the counter said "gracias" with an accent instead of "a la orden" or "con mucho gusto". Out of idle curiosity are the owners European? Seem like a lot of Margareth's clients go there so maybe one of you know.

I spoke with the owner one time and the familly is swiss. They all speak english. jim c

Paladar.  Great food and beautiful women.  We used to go there from All Colombian Girls.  It seemed like upper class women liked to eat there.

One time when I was in Cali I thanked a cashier and she said "Tranquilo".  I think that's a great response.
